## 2.21.0 - 2026-10-26
### Added
- Non-destructive image uploads retain full originals, with automatic crop editing after selection, reusable saved crop settings, and playback copies sized to the region and canvas without upscaling. Unchanged images that already fit reuse the original; discarded uploads and obsolete copies are cleaned up without removing referenced media.
- Player-specific media synchronization sends only playback assets needed by assigned screen playlists through direct or bridge connections, retains last-known assignments for offline clients, and safely removes obsolete player copies while protecting shared media storage.
- Media-library uploads show a rounded, primary-colour progress bar, server-processing feedback, and recoverable upload errors without navigating away from the gallery.
- Players show a loading indicator until initial slide images are ready, retain the previous slide while subsequent images load, retry media that is still syncing, and start slide timing only after image readiness.
