- Templates can define region defaults with the same type-specific editors used by slides, including rich-text editing and a full-canvas preview. Editable regions start from template defaults and accept slide overrides; Template-only regions stay out of slide editing and layout/animation overrides while retaining their template content and animations in previews and playback.
- Media, managed fonts, API requests, RSS feeds, timetable groups, weather locations, and weather icon sets referenced by template defaults are protected from deletion.
